Evgeni Malkin claimed the top spot in the Accuracy Challenge last night during the Skills Competition that were part of the All Star game festivities. The challenge went into a shootoff between Malkin and Heatley after they both went 4-for-4 in the first round, Malkin prevailed by nailing 3 of 4 targets. Geno was also busy a little earlier in the evening helping out fellow country men Alex Ovechkin in the Breakaway contest by providing a few props to Ovie for his final shot.

He said help me, Malkin said. What's going on? I have a good idea. You'll enjoy it. It was his idea, not mine. He came before the shootout and gave me glasses and hat. I think it was a great idea.
