Even though I was out of town over the weekend I still managed to see the game since it was broadcast nationally on that anti-penguins network and I have to say it was an incredible game even though the Penguins seemed to struggle early on in the contest. The Flyers were able to mount a 3 goal lead by early in the second before Max Talbot threw down with Carcillo and changed the momentum of the game in the Penguins favor as they would go onto score 3 unanswered goals in the second period and add on another 2 in the 3rd the last coming on an empty net shot from Captain Sidney Crosby with less than a minute remaining sealing the game and the series for the Penguins.
There isn't much more I can say about the game being that I missed the 1st period and some of the 2nd while I was attending a wedding. The Penguins advance to the next round and their opponent list is pretty wide open of who they could play, the only team they won't be facing in the 2nd round is the New York Rangers whom if they can close out the series against the Capitals on Tuesday would face the Bruins since they are the lowest seed remaining. So the possible opponents for the Penguins in the second round are the Bruins, Devils, Capitals, or the Hurricanes depending on today's game with Jersey and Carolina and the game between the Caps and Rangers on Tuesday.
