I didn't see the game so I don't know, all I heard was that it was bad. What can you expect starting a third string goalie fresh out of the AHL against an offense like that. Maybe next time kid.

I have no idea what happened in the game, the only thing I heard was that the Pens scored 3 goals in the third period to take the game. If someone could fill me in that would be spectacular, I'm going to have to setup the DVR to record these late games from now on. I did see that Fleury now has a broken finger and is questionable for Saturday's game.

The Penguins continue their trip of western Canada tonight with a game against the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers will be taking the ice tonight with a rookie goaltender in net and as of now Fleury is set to be between the pipes for the Penguins. Game starts at 9:30 again and is on FSN.

The Penguins continue their road trip in Calgary tonight as the square off against the Flames. Game time is 9:30 being that the game is in western Canada. A few notes as of practice today, it appears that Caputi may be out of the lineup tonight no official word yet even though emptynetters is reporting that he will be out tonight with Talbot taking his place on the Malkin line. Also Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik did a little light skating before practice this morning.

The Penguins went into Minnesota and didn't appear to lose a step from the previous game jumping out to an early 1-goal lead just 4 minutes in, but all was not had as the Wild resiliently bounced back on several occasions. After the Penguins took a 2-1 lead 1 minute into the second Martin Havlat whom has been a ghost in the wild lineup for the better part of this season thus far tied things up at 2 a piece. The Wild would go onto add another in the second before Sidney Crosby came to the rescue with his second goal of the night to tie it at 3, but all was lost when Latendresse netted the games final goal 6 minutes into the third followed by a 5 minute Wild power play as result of a stupid move on Gonchar's part to gain retaliation for a hit in the neutral zone.

The Penguins are in Minnesota tonight to meet with the less than stellar Minnesota Wild. The Penguins are looking to continue on the winning track and the Wild well they are still searching for said track this season, as they have produced little offense and goaltender Nicklas Backstrom has not been his usual self in net this season thus far.

After missing several games Sergei Gonchar took only 20 minutes to get himself reaquainted back into the Penguins lineup by scoring 2-goals on consecutive shifts. After scoring a no-call goal on the powerplay Gonch and a couple seconds later Gonchar tripped up Leaf Alexei Ponikarovsky which caused a penalty shot, but this was negated because after review it was shown that Gonchar's shot did in fact hit the post in back of the net and ricochet out. After serving his 2-minutes in the box Gonch came out to score his second and put the Penguins up 3-1, the final Penguins goal came from a nifty between the legs play by Sidney Crosby, it's kind of hard to explain so you will just have to watch the highlights.
